My Interview With Alec Baldwin
I got the opportunity to interview Alec Baldwin on the radio today. He’s on a big press tour promoting 30 Rock. I hear the show may be slacking in ratings lately, and I was able to convince his people that it was worth his time to get on the phone with me. I think it turned out well – and I think that I nailed this interview.

Alex Baldwin is in the news. I hate entertainment news, I really do. But I need to defend Alex Baldwin on this one. Here’s the deal.
He left his daughter a mean message. He stopped everything he was doing, probably something very important and movie related, to call his daughter and her phone was off. He’s involved in an absolutely nasty custody battle. His wife is a scum bag, and they have to plan out all of these meetings and phone calls because Kim and the lawyer are such pieces of shits.
Bottom line is I’ve been called a lot worse than that and I bet every reader of this has. He talked her down for being irresponsible and called her a pig. That’s the worst he did. Sorry fuckers, but it’s not that bad. It’s great entertainment, but it’s a private matter and it’s none of our businesses.
I love entertainment news, don’t get me wrong. But this is just too deep. This isn’t a public thing. This was a fucking voicemail message that the scum bag mother released to the media. That’s a lot more abusive than the pig comment. All of her friends hearing the message. All of the media coverage. It’s sick, and her mother is a fucking piece of shit for intentionally exposing her daughter to this.
Fuck Kim Basinger. Alex Baldwin blows, but he’s not a bad guy. He was a frustrated parent, and it’s none of our fucking business how he parents his daughter. This isn’t entertainment news. This is voyeuristic bullshit at the expense of an 11 year old.
